Where is the box?
Gate-out, in transit, delivered, empty returned — one timeline per container, with the last free day counting down next to it.
Format: four letters and seven digits, e.g. MSKU1234567
What a move timeline looks like
01
Discharged
The box is off the ship and the free-time clock starts.
02
Gated out
A driver has it on a chassis. Per diem is now running.
03
Delivered
Live unload or drop at the consignee.
04
Empty returned
The clock stops. This is the event that ends the charge.

What we track, and what we can't
We know first
- · Gate-out and gate-in events from the carrier's dispatch
- · Delivery and empty return confirmations
- · Appointment changes at terminals we are integrated with
- · Per-diem exposure against the last free day
We depend on the terminal
- · Discharge and customs release timing
- · Last free day as published by the ocean carrier
- · Empty return acceptance, which can change same-day
- · Terminal outages — see status when a feed goes quiet
